What is extraction ?

Once you've dowloaded and fixed files (see previous chapters), last step is to extract final files.

That chapter does not match with files .001, .002, ...

As you've noticed, you dowloded several files of some megas each. All gathered, they represent your final file.

You can read this chapter only if fixing was conclusive, otherwise extraction won't be possible.

3 types of extraction :
1. Automatic extraction next to fixing (see previous chapter, Fixing)
2. Automatic fixing and extraction through your Grabber (for instance last Grabit releases)
3. Manual extraction, next to QuickPa checks for instance

This chapter is about this last case.

Downloading Winrar

To extract and gather your datas, download Winrar (trial version is enough).

Once installed, open one of .RAR file from your archives :

 

Winrar opens and complete file is displayed with final name :

Finally, you juste have to click on 'Extract To...' and choose a destination on your harddrive. You'll acquire the final file !
